White Spruce Turns FIVE: A Birthday Note From Bailey

White Spruce is officially a kindergartener.

We turn FIVE on June 3, 2022! 🤯

To celebrate, I’m sprinkling in a few photos of O.G. gifting creations from when White Spruce was just a twinkle in my eye…

What started as a tiny seed of an idea is now a five year-old gifting biz. Years ago, in my past life as a full time wedding photographer, I fell in love with creating gorgeous packages + gifts for my clients. Not only did I love putting together pretty components & wowing my clients, I genuinely loved the hands-on creativity of gifting.

So I said, “Why not? Let’s start another business…”

And from there, White Spruce was born!

It was a slooooow start: On launch day, I fully expected a sold-out shop, and was completely gutted when it took over a week to receive my first sale. My brain said: “You’re a flop, a failure! Go home!”

Little did I know, a slow start isn’t a long-term barometer for your business – in fact, slow growth builds strong roots 💪🏼 And I’ve been living by that mantra ever since.

Fast forward five years later, and we have a small but mighty team, fulfilling thousands of gift orders annually. Our online shop features dozens of ready-to-ship gifts, along with our new, wildly popular Build Your Own Gift platform! Beyond the shop, our bread + butter is Corporate & Business Gifting.
